As a follow up to our earlier post Casio has unveiled at Baselworld 2014 the GPW-1000 G-SHOCK - the world’s first watch that receives both GPS and Radio Wave signals.
As a hybrid between its Multi-Band 6 technology that receives time calibration signals transmitted from six stations around the world and the GPS receiving function, this watch takes time keeping accuracy to a whole new level.
The GPW-1000 automatically receives radio waves carrying standard time data where available. When they are not available, it falls back on received GPS signals and adjusts the time.
